JEEP WK2 Intercooler Kit

CB Engineering 2014-2018 Jeep WK2 Intercooler kit. This kit replaces the factory intercooler with our 3" custom intercooler core that flows 25% more than stock. This intercooler is made in house from a custom designed intercooler core. The intercooler piping is made from 2.5" 6061 aluminum mandrel bent tubing, custom CNC machined adapters, stainless steel hardware. The intercooler outlet tube mounts to the intake manifold with the same disconnect style fitting as stock. No silicone tube and t-bolt clamp to pop off under high boost conditions. The intake manifold inlet does not have a bead or lip to keep a silicone tube from popping off. 

Clips into the stock location with only some minor trimming of the intercooler shroud as the new intercooler is larger than the stock one. No need for brackets that bolt in at random locations as ours uses the mounts to clip in with no hardware needed. The kit replaces the restrictive factory intercooler piping and reverses the flow path the reduce the length of tubing and greatly improve performance. The stock intercooler piping has internal baffles and many restrictions that reduces airflow. This kit improves MPG, reduces EGT's and reduces turbo spool up.
