Mercedes BlueTec OM642 Diesel EGR Block Off Plates 2012-2016

EGR Block Off Plates for your Mercedes with the OM642.826 engine. This kit is designed for the following vehicles. GL 350 BlueTEC (X166) w/ 3.0L OM642.826 engine 2013-2015. ML 350 BlueTEC (W166) w/ 3.0L OM642.826 engine 2012-2014. GLS 350d (X166) w/ 3.0L OM642.826 Engine 2016. The exhaust side fitting is CNC machined from 304 Stainless Steel. The intake manifold plate is laser cut from 6061 aluminum. These plates allow you to block off the EGR flow from the exhaust. The exhaust pressure sensor must be relocated for these engines or your turbo will not operate correctly because the ECM can not see what exhaust boost pressure is to help control the turbo VGT system. Must be used with proper ECM tuning otherwise you will get CEL. This kit is designed for Mercedes 2013-2016 vehicles running the OM642 engine. This kit will not work on Mercedes OM642 Sprinter Vans.
